A Set of Two Mini Floating Shelves for Personalised Book Arrangements

These two reversible mini floating shelves offer a flexible way to organise a small selection of books without introducing a large piece of furniture. Each compact steel shelf can be mounted in either of two orientations, allowing you to choose between a concealed support for horizontal stacks and a small ledge for upright books.

With dimensions of 12 × 12 cm, they are the smallest shelves in the TEEbooks collection. Their compact format makes them particularly suitable for creating individual book displays on narrow sections of wall.

Arrange Books in Horizontal Piles or Show Their Covers

When installed beneath a horizontal pile, each shelf accommodates approximately 15 paperback books or 7–8 larger paperback novels, depending on their dimensions and weight.

This arrangement keeps the books together in a vertical stack while using only a small section of wall. It can be useful for displaying a favourite author or keeping a few selected titles close to a reading area.

Turn the shelf into its alternative mounting position and it becomes a compact display ledge. The raised front edge helps retain suitably sized books, allowing their covers to face forwards. With two shelves, you can combine both styles in the same room or create a matching pair.

White Steel Shelves That Leave the Books in the Spotlight

Manufactured from FE DC01 steel with a white epoxy finish, the two shelves have a restrained design that gives the displayed books visual priority.

For horizontal stacking, the steel support is concealed beneath the books, producing the distinctive impression of a pile suspended against the wall. When used as an upright display, the small ledge offers a different appearance while retaining the same minimalist character.

The white finish integrates discreetly into light interiors, while the book covers and spines provide colour and texture. This makes the shelves suitable for a simple, uncluttered decorative arrangement.

Flexible Placement for a Growing Wall Display

The two shelves can be mounted independently, allowing you to choose different heights and positions. Install them close together for a compact display or spread them across a wall to create two distinct areas for your books.

For a more developed composition, several sets can be arranged in an ascending pattern, creating a sequence of floating book piles. The same wall can also combine horizontal stacks with upright cover displays.

The recommended load is up to 7 kg per shelf on a solid wall with suitable fixings. The supplied screws and wall plugs are intended for solid walls. For installation on plasterboard, use fixings compatible with the type of board and appropriate for the intended load. In this case, we recommend keeping the load lighter than on a solid wall.
